• The Go Tech Digital Pvt Ltd a Delhi based company has recently launched two Android tablet PC with price starting from Rs. 3, 999. These two tablet PC is also coming in a budget category like others already available in the market like Wishtel, Zync Z990, Micromax Funbook, Aakash tablet PC, Attitude Dakha, Ubislate 7+ ,Ubislate 7C and so on.
• The first tablet PC from Go Tech Digital Pvt Ltd is Funtab Fusion with the price tag of Rs. 3, 999 and the other one is the Fonetab, which come with a SIM slot and is available with the price tag of Rs. 6, 999.
• Both tablet PCs have a 7-inch resistive touch screen with the resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. Also both the tablet PCs are powered by the same 800 MHz processor. The major difference between the two tablet PCs is the SIM slot which is only available in the high end model i.e. Fonetab. Another difference is the battery capacity. The Funtab Fusion’s battery rating is 2800 mAh while the Fonetab has a 3600 mAh battery.
• The operating system on both the tablet PCs may upset the user as it is an old one. The Funtab Fusion has an operating system of Android 2.3 Gingerbread while the Fonetab has Android 2.2 Froyo.
• On the connectivity front 3G connectivity is supported via external dongle. While the Fonetab also support the GPRS/EDGE connectivity because of SIM card. Both the tablet PCs also provide LAN 10/100 Ethernet access, WI-Fi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth 2.0, USB Port ( Fonetab also has mini-USB port), a 3.5 mm audio jack and a front VGA camera.
• Funtab Fusion has 256 MB of RAM and 2 GB of storage, whereas the other tablet PC Fonetab has double these value i.e. 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of storage.
